Role Objectives
The Head of Private Client Credit Solutions & Strategy at Sandro Wealth Management acts as the firm’s internal authority on sophisticated lending solutions, specializing in supporting financial advisors and their high-net-worth (HNW) clients with complex borrowing needs. This individual will be integral to expanding Sandro’s “Banking-as-a-Service” platform, coordinating between advisors, clients, and Sandro’s network of premier banking partners to deliver customized lending strategies that enhance the overall wealth management experience
The Head of Private Client Credit Solutions & Strategy partners directly with advisor teams and their clients to guide them through complex financing scenarios—ranging from residential mortgages to investor real estate and commercial loans. Acting as a liaison to our consortium of bank and non-bank lenders, the Head of Private Client Credit Solutions & Strategy ensures clients are matched with the right lending partner and are supported through origination, approval, and execution stages.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Sandro’s subject matter expert on all forms of lending, including but not limited to:
Residential and investor real estate loans
Commercial loans including –
Multifamily, Office, Senior/Student housing, hospitality (hotels/motels), Specialty (assisted living, churches, marinas etc.)
Construction and renovation loans
Business Financing Loans
Bridge loans
Business and commercial loans tailored for business owners and entrepreneurs
Specialty lending solutions for HNW and ultra-HNW clients
Mortgages for primary and secondary homes
Collaborate with financial advisors to assess client borrowing needs across housing, investment, and business-related credit and match them with the right banking partner from Sandro's curated network
Engage Sandro’s network of banking partners to obtain comparative lending proposals
Lead analysis and presentation of lending options—including terms, rates, fees, and long-term cost/value comparisons
As the internal expert on Sandro’s BaaS solution, educate advisors on how leveraging “lending” can deepen client relationships and increase retention
Personally guide advisors and their clients through the full loan process, including needs assessment, structuring, partner selection, application, underwriting, and closing.
Coordinate the entire process with partner network lenders to ensure smooth execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with Sandro’s banking partners, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of current loan products, underwriting criteria, and approval pipelines
Regularly review and stay up-to-date on market terms, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes
Develop, lead, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars to upskill Sandro advisors on lending strategies, effective client approaches, and industry best practices. Support advisor-led client education and marketing involving lending solutions as part of integrated wealth planning.
Proactively identify and generate demand for Sandro’s “Banking-as-a-Service” capabilities through education initiatives, co-marketing, and thought leadership content (e.g., lending webinars, case studies)
Collaborate with Sandro’s senior wealth strategists, estate planners, and risk management teams to integrate lending solutions with broader wealth management strategies for clients
Maintain high standards of compliance, documentation, and operational excellence in all lending activities
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in structured lending, commercial mortgages, investor real estate financing, or financial advisory roles with exposure to complex borrowing. Preference for experience in specialized HNW lending environments.
Demonstrated ability to structure and close complex financing solutions for HNW and ultra-HNW clients
Deep network and track record of partnership with private banks, non-bank lenders, and specialty financial institutions
Strong presentation and teaching skills; comfortable leading education sessions and webinars for both internal teams and external clients.
Proven track record presenting and closing financing solutions for high-net-worth or institutional clients.
Strong analytical and presentation skills — comfortable modeling and comparing multiple loan structures.
Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills; proven ability to build trust with advisors, clients, and partner institutions.
Excellent communication and advisory partnership capabilities within cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple proposals, clients, and lender relationships in a dynamic environment.
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-centric environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of client service and compliance.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related — additional lending credentials (e.g. mortgage licensing, CMB certification) preferred.
